Hello Cavers,
In light of the current pandemic, the Grotto officers have decided to postpone the upcoming Annual Grotto Meeting. We have been advised by Montana Health and Human Services and the Center for Disease Control to avoid holding group gatherings for the foreseeable future.
As cavers, we understand decontamination and the spread of disease better than most folks in the general public. Fortunately, most of us already have a stock of decon products! We encourage you all to help flatten the curve with social distancing and hand-washing.
In the meantime, if you are stuck at home looking for something to do, consider catching up on writing all those trip reports you’ve been putting off. We will hold another drawing this year and mail prizes to Grotto members (hint: Lysol wipes are a better prize than ever this year and we have some to send out!)
Please feel free to use the Grotto message boards as needed to coordinate any supply exchanges or other assistance in the upcoming weeks.
